Counselling is aimed at giving you a dedicated time and space in which you can explore the difficulties you face in life, in a completely safe and confidential environment. It gives you the time to talk through the problems you are facing.
It’s about finding in yourself the understanding of what it is to be you in this moment of time. That understanding, found in an accepting and non-judgemental way, can develop your self-awareness and give you insight into how you can change and grow into the person you would like to be.
It’s about helping you move away from where you are now. It doesn’t tell you what to do. It doesn’t give you the answers but it will help you find them in yourself, enabling you to deal with your current issues.
